Tarpon. The Silver King. The most fun and challenging Game Fish in our local waters. Tarpon migrate to our part of the Gulf of Mexico every spring with the best fishing in May and June. Tarpon readily take Live or Artificial and are known to fight well over an hour once hooked. Every year in our area yields a fish over 200lbs with the norm being 80-160 lbs. This is true catch 7 release sport-fishing at it's best! Don't miss the boat! Book your trip well in advance.
Snook fishing in the Sarasota and Charlotte Harbor can be excellent year round. Snook are know as hard fighters and can be found in potholes on shallow flats or cruising Mangrove coastlines. Night Snook fishing in "Snook Alley" is also an exciting way to fish for snook and to escape the heat of the day.
There is no mistaking when a big Redfish hits. Line screams off the reel, the rod bends until it can bend no more and don't be alarmed if you smell smoke coming from the spool! Redfish are the powerhouses of the flats. Often caught sight-fishing (artificial) or with live bait/chum these monsters will give you a work out.
